Don’t ask Designer Jolene Embree to pick a favorite: one day, she’s grooving to John Mayer, but the next, she’s enjoying country or R&B; she’s drawn to the restraint of Mid-Century architecture, but she also loves a quaint Cape Cod house with some nautical flair. With her affinity for such diverse sources of inspiration, Jolene is a highly adaptive designer who’s comfortable diving into any kind of project. When she’s not carefully triple-checking the specs for a cozy guest room, Jolene’s varying interests include experimenting in the kitchen, rooting for the Cubbies, checking out car shows, tinkering in the garage and playing with Bellatrix and Thor—her rambunctious German shepherds.
Hailing from Oak Lawn, Illinois, Jolene is a LEED Green Associate and is certified NCIDQ. She holds a BFA in interior design from the CIDA-accredited program at the Illinois Institute of Art – Schaumburg.
